Vava is a relatively new company that established itself in 2015 as a manufacturer of Bluetooth speakers. In the relatively short time since their founding, they've branched out into everything from dashboard cameras to milk frothers and motion-sensing lights. The Vava VA-AH010 humidifier may seem like an odd addition to a product line that began in the audio field, but it fits the company's apparent mission to bring high-tech smarts to a wide variety of consumer products. The Vava humidifier has a nice range of features for its price point, which could make it a blessing for anybody on a budget looking for a way to keep their skin from cracking in dry weather.
The Vava humidifier has an 84.6-ounce tank with a large opening on top so that you won't spill water while filling it. You'll need to remove the tank for cleaning, which Vava says will expose the electrical connection, but according to the product literature "it has a low voltage" and "will not harm you if [you] accidentally touch [it] when the humidifier is on." Our advice is to turn the humidifier off before you lift the tank, but it's good to know that you're not likely to electrocute yourself if you don't. Vava also notes that the design prevents mold from growing on the base, which in some humidifiers can get wet.
The nozzle rotates a full 360 degrees, so you can point the mist where you want it without moving the entire unit. You can set the timer to turn the humidifier on and off as needed. An LED light shows when the unit is operating, but can be switched off while you're sleeping. And, speaking of sleeping, the unit operates noiselessly, so you can keep it next to your bed. Given that the humidifier only covers 270 square feet, you'll probably want it close by.
This is a solid choice for the price, but you might also want to take a look at the Levoit Hybrid Ultrasonic, which allows you to add essential oils for aromatherapy; the Air Innovations MH-512 and the Aprilaire Steam 800.
Easy to use and fill in water. I love how strong and long lasting it is...its size is a bit big so it definitely needs a bigger area to sit on.
The nozzle is so powerful that the mist coming out from it can spread out and cover half of my room...water tank is huge...operation is super easy.
The amount of moisture to be humidified can also be adjusted...we do not hear the working sounds...firmly plays the essential role of a humidifier.
Because the closed mouth is wide, it is easy to pour water and easy to clean...Since it stops automatically when the water runs out, it is safe and I am really satisfied.
