The uKnead Lavita massage chair (for when uKnead a massage, of course) has a mid-range price, which in the world of massage chairs means that a new model will put a substantial dent in your credit line or your bank account. But it delivers a number of features not found in lower-end chairs, so the expense may be worth it. For a start, it's easy to put together, with a lot of the parts already assembled in the box. (This also means that it's heavy, so have some brawny help around to put it in the room where you want it.) It uses an L-track, which means that the rollers go all the way down your back and under your posterior instead of just to the base of your spine. For the regions below your buttocks, there's actually a holder in the foot rest where you can place your feet to surround your tootsies with airbags, massaging away a day of standing around doing whatever it is you do for a living.
There are, in fact, airbags all over the place in this chair, so it can massage your arms, your calves, even your waist and hips. There are pads for your head, buttock and lumbar regions, but they can reduce the intensity of the massage in those places, so they're easily removable. (Or, if the massage proves too intense for your sensitive muscles, you can just leave them in.) The Lavita lacks the 3D rollers of more expensive massage chair, which push deeply into your muscles, usually after performing a body scan to determine just how much padding your body already has, so the Lavita's padding is essentially your only method of intensity control.
This chair, like all premium massage chairs, will recline into a zero gravity position, evening out pressure along your dorsal region. The remote control allows you to select between five different massage techniques and three zero-gravity positions. If that's not enough power for you in a massage chair and this is the price region you want to shop in, also look at the Osaki OS-7075R and the Infinity Escape massage chairs.
I don't have enough words to describe how great this chair is. I suffer from leg and low back pain and just after a few times using the chair, I already feel much better.
