There are two paths to walk in the world of robotic toilets. One is the electronic seat cover that fits upon an existing toilet. The other is the full and total upgrade to space-age throne. Some examples of the former include Bidet4Me's E-300A and Biobidet's USPA 6800.
Toto's Neorest 550 is the latter, and it's been a successful reign. It makes sense, considering the Japanese company is the world's largest toilet manufacturer.
Like its younger sibling, the 550H, the Neorest 550 has received high marks from users. Many have praised its simple, intuitive remote control and adjustable temperature settings. It requires reliable water pressure for best performance. Overall, the Neorest 550 is simple and efficient enough to merit its steep price tag.
This toilet looks like a sculpture sitting in my bathroom, functions wonderfully, provide personal cleanliness, and saves water consumption.
It's a bit pricey but I have been using it for 3 years now and I'm very happy with the product.
Everything is adjustable from the temperature of the water and toilet seat to the pressure and location of the cleaning. The control unit is a wireless remote.
The control panel is easy to understand and use. I love the energy efficient flush options and the energy saver feature for the toilet when not in use.
If you can handle the price this is the most innovative toilet out there. It is both a bidet and toilet. Looks great. Hard to install though.
Looks and functions beautifully. I can not think of another toilet on the market that comes close to Neorest's cool factor. Though expensive, it is worth the money!
I would definitely recommend this toilet if your house has good water pressure. If your water pressure is below 40 PSI, consider a tanked toiled instead.
