Editorial Review

The Titan Pro Alpha doesn't have a rock-bottom price, like the Human Touch iJoy Active 2.0 or the Brookstone ReAct, but for a low-mid-range massage chair it has a back-breaking load of features. No, it doesn't have a built-in MP3 player (though it has a Bluetooth connection, so you can listen to music and podcasts from your smartphone) and there's no retractable arm that will hold your iPad up where you can watch movies while you turn into a human puddle of relaxed flesh, but the Titan features an L-track massage that runs from your neck to your thighs. (An L-track is basically an extension of the shorter S-track found in older massage chairs.) The Pro Alpha does a body scan to make sure it provides just the right depth of massage after putting you in the ubiquitous zero-gravity position, which leans you horizontally you like an astronaut being acclimated for space travel (or being reacclimated to earth conditions on return), to put even gravitational strain along your entire body, both increasing and smoothing out the massage pressure.

There are rollers and airbags in the footrest to sooth your aching soles. There are cavities to hold your arms while you undergo one of the three available massages: the quick Express; the Wholesome, a low-intensity massage style combo; the Oriental, which massages your entire body with the backrest rollers; the Swedish, which does deep tissue kneading along your back; the Classic, which runs through all available styles; and the Chiro, which uses the rollers to stretch your muscles up and down the sides of your spine. You can also use the remote to orchestrate your own combo of styles. And there are 28 airbags to cover the contours of your body as completely as possible while a heating pad softens up your lumbar region. If you don't want to hang on to a remote, the chair can also be controlled from a side panel.

Sound good? Compare it with other chairs in the same price range, like the Kahuna LM6800, or go the much more expensive route with a chair like the Fujiiryoki FJ-4900 Dr. Fuji.

I've been looking for a good one for my back and neck area and this one does a great job. And also its foot roller is amazing and strong enough...
