It’s been said that “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” It seems that this would apply nowhere more than around meal time, especially if the absent one is the food provider. While the advent of microwaves and credit cards have assuaged the hunger of young humans cast adrift, most pizza restaurants don’t deliver to dog houses. Cat houses might be another story, though. Regardless, most pets would be no more likely to agree about what to put on a pizza than their humans. The stuffed-crust double mouse and tuna isn’t for everybody.
In order to reduce the infighting between cat and dog around the issue of meals, the manufacturers of automated pet food dispensers have begun dabbling in exclusionary delivery systems. That way Princess Whiskers doesn’t have to deal with that awful dog breath and Sir Snuffs-a-lot’s perpetual looks of, "You gonna eat that?” The Ourpets WonderBowl slams the lid down on food sharing with an electronic ID system. If the pet doesn’t carry the right tag, then out of the club car. While its Crock-Pet good looks are appropriate for the residential cat or dog, super-villains and their admirers demand more style.
The Sureflap SureFeed rises to the challenge. Looking like the flying bridge of a nuclear-powered hover-yacht, the SureFeed would not seem out of place on the floor of Blofeld’s kitchen or secret laboratory. Food is contained under a clear hinged lid which is activated by RFID chip or collar tag when the cat is in direct proximity. When meal time is complete and the furry diner departs, the lid closes, keeping other interested parties at bay. Powered by 4 C batteries, it comes with 2 detachable, colored polypropylene bowls and a silicone place mat for enthusiastic eaters.
Great product...I saw this product and immediately bought it...The opening is perfect for 1 cat and the others cannot, unless they force themselves next to her.
Easy transition from a plate to this feeder...Highly recommended if you have a bully cat...The food stays fresh for hours and does not dry out.
Best thing ever...If you have been trying to manually monitor food for cats you know how time consuming it is. You won't look back with these.
I have bought 3 of these products and they truly do what they are designed to do. Only one cat was nervous of the motorized lid, but she eventually overcame that.
Its easy to set up and sturdy...it keeps wet or raw food fresher longer as it is covered when they are not eating.
With this feeder, the food stays moist and fresh and fly-egg-free. Brilliant...Follow the instructions for nervous cats and be patient and all will be well.
Setting up the feeder was really easy...Overall, I love the SureFeed...frees me up from playing referee between Pierre and Ashton during mealtime.
If they crawl up and put their head through the arch the sensors will activate but if they approach the arch a bit higher up then you're going to have trouble.
