The Liectroux B6009 is a hybrid of a robotic mop and vacuum cleaner, classing it among peers such as the iBoto Aqua and the gorgeous Deebot R95. Like both of those bots, the B6009 cycles through wet and dry cleaning before finishing off your floor with a bath of UV light intended to disinfect the newly cleaned surface.
There are a lot of good things to be said about the B6009, but the issues it does have might just be too big to overlook. The vacuum motor and brushes can both be turned off, effectively converting your B6009 to cleaning session to a fully automated mopping (extremely useful after a house party). In fact, nothing at all on the machine needs to be swapped or added when switching over to mopping, as the bracket it attaches to has a built-in water tank the bot can pull from. Up to a liter of dirt, dust, and debris can fit in the accompanying dirt bin, and an easy-to-use remote control allows you to cycle through different settings and cleaning modes. There's also a virtual wall for whenever you don't want your B6009 going into certain rooms or areas, a quite useful feature.
Users of the product have reported some somewhat troubling issues, however. The efficacy of the vacuum and UV light have been called into question by multiple reviewers, with one review claiming the machine only picked up half of the dirt along its path. Sometimes the B6009 is even reported to simply stop functioning in the midst of a cleaning cycle, and when what you're paying for is essentially the convenience of not having to worry about the cleaning this bot does, that flaw may prove fatal. If the B6009 simply looks too good to pass up, investigating Liectroux' most recent refund and warranty policies may be something to look into.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the robot because it works really well and decreases work. It can be programmed according to the time function. Useful helper.
When this product arrived it worked great. But after about a week, the function of this product started deteriorating. I will obviously be asking for an exchange.
I liked that it comes with spare brushes... When it comes to operation it is very simple... Good impressions in the first uses.
Price / performance is good, design and software still needs to mature.
