Perhaps the first serious mass robot invasion, experienced in homes the world over, was the invasion of the robot vacuum. These innocuous, even cute little bots were a market once largely dominated by the Roomba, though times have changed and many other strong competitors now exist. On the less expensive end of these competitors sits Infinuvo, and in their Cleanmate QQ6 they have a solid if standard option for homeowners and apartment dwellers looking for a break from vacuuming their (preferably non-rugged) floors.
The Cleanmate QQ6 shines in all the same areas that its predecessor did, while making fair improvements in suction capacity — though not enough to totally replace traditional vacuuming, particularly with regards to thicker carpets. The QQ6 makes up for its relative lack of suction power with its two brushes, together spanning the bot's diameter, kicking up all the dirt, dust, and dander it can muster. Choose from one of five automated motion trajectories after the Cleanmate makes its initial map; mix and match the routes for maximal effectiveness.
The Infinuvo Cleanmate series has come a long way since its lackluster early iterations, and now serves as a viable low cost foil to the many higher-priced bots currently populating the marketplace. And admittedly, the variety of pretty top covers that you can fit it with don't hurt either.
Certainly a learning-curve for this little guy. He does a beautiful job. The most important thing is to de-clutter before you let him loose.
I like the price and the size of the dust pan. Only issue is it is unable to transition from room to room without assistance.
Cheaper than many models and it works. Washable filter and brushes. Does not make much noise. It is compact enough to clear under many furniture in my house.
