In the ongoing struggle for dominance of the comfort-zone, a couple of contenders have shown they possess the right stuff. And as automated massage chairs are their weapons of choice, the right stuffing should not be overlooked. Manufacturer of unmitigated delight, Human Touch, clutches at the breadth of Infinity’s endless vectors of physical pleasure as they jockey for position among the marketing hordes for the receptive posteriors of the credit-positive consumer. When the smoke clears, the purveyors of superior contentment will be the victors.
For over 30 years, Human Touch has been applying their mechanical efficiency to the biological need. The Human Touch Zero-G 4.0 is a serviceable example. It has the appearance of a recliner and the capabilities of a masseuse with the weight of a masseur. The Human Touch HT-7450 is no lightweight itself but is disguised as a very sharp office chair. While both aim for zero-g recline, only the Zero-G 4.0 works from head to toe, whereas the HT-7450 ignores the feet completely.
Since 2009, upstart manufacturer, Infinity, has been rubbing out their share of the market with such comprehensive massage chairs as the space-age Infinity Iyashi. Through a combination of rollers and airbags, the Iyashi provides for the user from the head to the feet, including the arms. Though situated lower than the HT-7450, the Infinity IT-9800 embraces its foot-ignoring ethos. Using a 27-inch S-Track roller system, the IT-9800 massages from neck to calves, leaving the feet dangling. Instead of airbags, it utilizes rollers to massage the calf muscles and incorporates a swing function which undulates the legs from side to side rhythmically. Along with zero-gravity, the IT 9800 also offers inversion therapy by elevating the feet above the head and using body weight as traction. The chair has a lumbar heater to relax tightened muscles but you might want some fuzzy slippers to keep your feet from too much massage envy.
Heat is very limited with minimal vibration. Features which I now realize are keys to my comfort. The massage is very strong, and it is a deep roller.
This chair is really awesome. It really does a great job. The infrared heat helps your muscles as the chair does a fantastic job massaging them. I really loved the feeling.
Best massage chair on the market. Comfortable enough to sleep in saves you the money and time from trips to the masseuse. It relieves back pain and fatigue. Relaxing!
The massage roller in the back is strong and it works really well with all of the stretching programs. I like the rollers in the legs, my feet in there to get massaged too!
Fantastic chair to massage you at the end of a long, hard day! Great chair for my elderly parents, it massages the legs and back and everyone is enjoying it with them.
