Massage is the ancient discipline of individual tension release through vigorous localized physical stimulation. It has been traditionally accomplished by one human kneading another, though depending upon individual preferences, variations will occur as warranted. Present applications include physical therapy, sports massage and chiropractic. Given the personal nature of the interaction between massager and massagee, there is little homogeny in the field at large; everyone does it a little differently.
With the massage chair, a level of standardization can be achieved should that hold appeal. As there are limited mechanical functions these devices perform which are necessarily repeatable, one can ideally establish a massage regimen to suit their needs. The market offers options, and as this is a luxury item, those options come at a price. Massage chairs like the Human Touch Zero-G 4.0 blend in to the furnishings and offer a limited range of features. For a higher tech chair in looks and operation, the Infinity Iyashi can set you up and back at the same time.
Touted as the world’s best massage chair, the Inada Sogno DreamWave is something to experience. Available in black leather, this very comfy-looking high-tech wonder leans toward the upper regions of price, with many proprietary goodies to warrant it. Among them are the proprietary Inada DreamWave Technology, incorporating the proprietary Arm Shiatsu, Shoulder Massage, Hip and Thigh massage and beloved proprietary Stretch function. Something called the Optical Shiatsu Point Sensor scans your back and matches your particulars with one of 106 stored profiles to provide a custom massage. The DreamWave offers 8 pre-programmed revolutionary massage sequences including “Morning” and “Nighttime.” These can be reprogrammed to allow the user to customize their preferred massage settings. After a session with the second-mortgage recliner, one is presumably so relaxed that they can even offer a proprietary Youth Session, for the kids.
I love this chair! This is the worlds best massage chair! No it is not a deep tissue personal massage . If you can afford it and I you like massages... Get it!
The massage chairs provide relaxation to those whose stress include traumatic medical needs. The Inada Sogno has long been my favorite model.
It changed my life for the better. I swear this is not a sales pitch. I just want other people who experience muscle aches and cramps to know there's an alternative.
I've had the chair for two years and still love it! I absolutely love the massage I get on my legs and feet! I highly recommend this chair to anyone who loves massages.
You really do get to immerse yourself in super deep relaxation. The way the air cells compress your arms, legs and feet is a great addition to the shiatsu massage.
Amazing chair! The chair was very well made and very easily to assemble. I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends.
