Editorial Review

The Air Spa Vapor 2.0 from Green is one of the least expensive electronic oil diffusers on the market and has a functional, plastic milk carton look -- until you turn it on and it begins to glow in vivid colors. Turn off the lights and you'll barely notice the milk carton look at all. It will emit bursts of fractionated oil into the air at three different levels of intermittent diffusion, letting it permeate a 400-square-foot room with aroma for up to eight hours. For the price that isn't bad. Green claims that the air vapor is completely silent while operating, though users beg to differ. However, what little sound it makes resembles gently rushing wind, so that could be considered a feature rather than a defect.

The finish on the non-illuminated part is pearl-white, which still sounds a bit like a milk carton, but it will rotate through four different colors -- green, blue, red and purple. The mist can be set to spray directionally, so that you won't waste any on parts of the room where you aren't planning to be sitting around enjoying it. It doesn't heat the oils, which Green says "can compromise their molecular integrity." They also claim that it will relieve pain, which is debatable, but it certainly could distract you from it. They also say it can treat common colds, but having a stuffy nose is more likely to ruin the effect.

The Air Spa Vapor can be set to run for one, two or three hours. Unlike some more expensive diffusers, like the Ellia Rise, it doesn't have a playlist of relaxing sounds. Unlike the Serene House Scentilizer Donut, which looks exactly like it sounds it would, it also won't play music. But if all you want is a few hours of aromatherapy, it's an inexpensive way to do the job.

Compare this to some of the other oil diffusers on the market, like the Pilgrim Sofia Waterless, the SpaRoom AromaMist and the Welledia Wellspring.

The diffuser diffuses a steady flow of essential oil/water mixture into the air until it runs out. I am very pleased so far.

It is not completely silent, it actually sounds like a quiet fountain. When the vapor comes out it makes a quiet wind blowing sound. I love it! sounds like a spa to me.

I am very impressed with this diffuser. I've used it every night so far for over a week. It puts out a better fragrance of my oils than other brands.

I use it in my room, and it's nice to set it for an hour so I don't waste any more oils. It's quiet and you have the option to turn the lights off or leave them on.
