With upwards of 70 consumer UAV manufacturers producing hundreds of drones, the FAA could find itself with a monumental policing task. Perhaps their trickiest dilemma is pilot certification. As with drivers' licenses, to become certified, you must be 16 years of age or older. Considering the flying, multi-bladed buzz-saw nature of UAVs, this is sensible from a regulatory standpoint. It serves no one to have 12-year-olds chopping up the neighborhood pets from above with a hexcopter. But as they exist in numbers so big that they require commas, it's tantamount to giving cars to millions of kids and then telling them they need licenses after they've wrecked the cars.
But drones aren’t cars, and the majority fly them for about 10 minutes at a time, give or take. Most operators won’t get certified because for their particular applications, they have no reason to, and thus the new regulation turns them into outlaws. With multi-bladed flying buzz saws. People who fly expensive, larger drones tend to be careful with their investments. But some of the knock-offs are so cheap that they can be treated cavalierly because they're just toys. Unlike most of the expensive fliers, many clones come with prop guards.
The JJRC H26W is a tricked-out version of the Syma X8C Venture, which is itself the toy version of the DJI Phantom in some incarnation. As with all flying cameras, the H26W seeks the sweeping majesty of the expensive airbots without adding the money. It's a stable flier with landing gear similar to the Walkera Tali H500. The Tali advantage is that its landing gear retracts, opening up the pan virtue of the gimbal. The H26W gimbal tilts and pans but the rotors are visible at the top of the tilt and the landing gear are all over the pan. But the cheap gimbal also furnishes the expected wobble and flutter that is found with a camera on an airborne toy. The H26W is wifi ready and set for FPV flying. The transmitter is low-rent hobby-grade, has a smartphone mount and appears to live up to its promoted 300-meter range. The 1200 mAh battery will keep the H26W aloft for up to 7 minutes.
Nice design, works great, good quality for this price! I am absolutely thrilled! Short delivery time, everything was perfect. Thank you so much!
Price is very good and the features are that of higher end quadcopter.
It flies perfectly! It has a very good wifi transmission to my android phone. I give it 5 stars. The only problem is that Banggood does not sell spare batteries for it.
I am very satisfied. I have received it very fast. The drone is fine, but the camera does not connect with my mobile android, but with my tablet android.
Very good! Great value and great fun! You might want to purchase more battery because you can only get about 8 or 9 minutes at a time. Can't wait to fly it again.
A powerful drone with many interesting features, such as: photographs and video clips, headless mode, live video transmission... It is great fun to fly this drone.
Amazing machine, I love the color, the look and the lights. It does take some assembly out of the box. Thank you JJRC and Amazon for a great quad!
Shipping was fast but when I assemble everything and I tried to fly it, 1 prop didn't spin. I'm really disappointed!
Big and bad! Love the looks of this quad!
Flies great and easy to download camera WiFi- ufo app for my android phone. I like it very much and thanks for the great price. it is also easy to build.
